Long Overdue Tag

Hello, fellow time travelers!

It has been quite a while since I've done anything like this. Honestly, I could be doing more important things. But hey, I'm alone with my mom's computer so I thought, why not, lets do some journaling.


BUT ANYWAAAAAAY....

Tagged by the wonderful JustCallMeBlazie  (you clever girl, you) who wants to know more about one of my older (literally older) characters, Cheveyo

Fact #1
Originally, Cheveyo was supposed to be what I like to call, of Balto-esque descent. In other words, he was supposed to be a wolf-dog mix, as one of the pictures above indicates. His story has changed several times, but I was able to finalize it through a role-play with a friend. More to follow on said story in an upcoming fact.

Fact #2
Chevy also originally had a daughter, a wolf of similar colors named Raven. Unfortunately due to multiple events, I forgot about her. She is now her own character, sitting on the shelf with all the others, waiting to be used. 

Fact #3
Cheveyo is a ghost. I thought long and hard about this one; after I decided I wanted to make him more unique my mind drifted to a more spectral sense. Hehe. Anyway, the story goes like this:
Chevy was originally a Native American, living among a tribe around the time of Columbus, in the state of Oregon.  When things started to become rough between the white man and his people, he took his betrothed Nayeli, and they went off on their own as nomads. They followed the buffalo, and when that wasn't possible, they followed other sources of food. Things went well for a little while, until a horrible disease plagued the land they happened to be in. Rabies, actually. Neither of them were affected, until Nayeli was bitten by a dying grey wolf. Devastated, the lovers were forced to part for the sake of the others' safety. Cheveyo never saw her again, and with a heavy heart, he continued to wander until death paid him a visit. Centuries passed, and people would say that sometimes, when it was just foggy enough or dark enough, they could see a lone grey wolf roaming the peaks. Searching for something.

Fact #4
Cheveyo's name means "Spirit Warrior" In Hopi, a Native American language that also inspired me to give him a better origin story.

Fact #5 
Cheveyo, despite being a spirit, can change how transparent he appears when in the mortal world. However, it can only be done for a certain amount of time before he goes back to his more see-through appearance.

Fact #6
Cheveyo can change his spirit form to whatever one he likes. At one point he decided to be a human ghost for a while, just to see what it felt like. 

Fact #7
He prefers his wolf form, though, for sentimental values. It's similar in appearance to the wolf that took Nayeli away from him. He chose this form to serve as a reminder to never become that close to anyone ever again. This does not last, though.

Fact #8
At present, Chevy now serves as a spiritual guardian to one of my other characters, Rogue Blaze, the Ghost Rider of her generation and adopted daughter of Johnny Blaze (another, very complicated story, for another time)
Going against his promise to never bond with another individual, Chevy has finally found a form of peace for himself, living among the girl and her family as a sort of family pet when he isn't keeping her safe from demons. It was an odd sensation as first, to be cared for like a dog would. But in time he grew used to it, and grew to love being spoiled from time to time.
